Despite certain trials, challenges, downers and all else, the day is finally within reach.
Eet has finally found a good foster. My mom. Lesson learnt: People can be pretty unreliable. It’s okay if you can’t or don’t want to help. Just say you can’t. Don’t say you can, and later come up with some lousy reason (regardless of validity) to say that you can’t. Especially not just a few days before you were supposed to foster. Definitely not only after you’ve been contacted as a form of confirmation. You mean you planned to just not say a thing until the day itself, when you get the call to inform you that it’s on its way to your place? Really now. That’s mature and responsible? On a different note, it’s consoling to know that there are people who are willing to help. Either through fostering or through looking for a good foster. Thanks girls. My mom just suddenly pulled a fast one on me. I think she’s in love 🙂
Now, I just have to be done with the writing piece and I can finally (hopefully) enjoy the holiday. Much like a 2nd installment of my graduation trip. This time, an airplane is finally involved.
Luggage, here I come packing.
